 ☄ First Impressions • VISUAL: 5'9, 124 lbs. Pale skin, brown eyes, waist-length black hair that's been noted to be exceptionally soft and silky, especially for a guy. Somewhere in his late 20s. Looks to be of average build, but... • FASHION: He tends to dress in layers (like so) which makes his actual build hard to guess at; he's actually pretty buff. He tends to favor traditional Japanese fashion, but he can often be caught in a variety of (questionably effective) disguises as well, including a handful of female disguises. • DEMEANOR: By default Katsura is calm and speaks with a steady, even cadence that borders on deadpan. • MAGICAL INFORMATION: A perfectly normal human being. ☄ OOC • PLAYER: Kei • CONTACT: • TIMEZONE & PACE: EST; more active during weekday evenings than any other time. • BACKTAGGING: Yes! How he might respond is up in the air, however. • PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Ask first for serious violence, but generally yes! Comedic violence is more of less a green light, though! • MENTAL INFORMATION: Steady, calm, incredibly intelligent, and overly literal, with an impressively expansive imagination to top it all off. Empaths and telepaths are welcome to poke around, but might regret it. • IC TRIGGERS: None. • RELATIONSHIPS: sure, but why would you want to date katsura...... • SMUT OPT-INS? Generally, yes, expect me to participate! • SHIPPING PREFERENCES: M/M and M/F ☄ Things to Note • TERRORISM: Though he's started to rely on much less violent methods as of late, the point still remains: Katsura is a terrorist that can and has blown up his share of buildings. Gintama is a comedy series, so Katsura is apt to make casual or flippant mentions of terrorist activities, and he's always recruiting more people to his cause. • FOURTH WALLING: Katsura is prone to fourth walling... sort of. Again, Gintama is a comedy series, one with an emphasis on parody and satire, so while Katsura won't make canon-specific references to a character he may call out references, homages, or similarities to other things. For example: he wouldn't tell Sasuke that he's from a manga called Naruto (or even know that he is), but he might call out Honoka (from Love Live) on trying to capitalize on Perfume or AKB48's popularity. tl;dr: Katsura won't exactly breath the fourth wall, but he often leans on it as a result of being genre savvy and I welcome other players to do the same! ☄ Opt Out and Plotting Obviously, fourth walling and terrorism aren't aspects people always want to interact with!
